Aldebaran is the brightest star in the zodiac constellation of Taurus (as is Samo). This wine is 100% white riesling from the Žerovinci—south site. The 24-hour maceration was followed by a 6-week cold fermentation. The wine matured in large oak barrels made from Slovene wood. The wine has not been filtered.

It goes well with asparagus, Florence fennel, roast John Dory, European flounder, European pilchard, raw shrimps, veal, white meat and young pork.
