The Premium series, easily identifiable due to its bright label, brings together the Kupljen premium wines. Grapes are from younger vineyards, aged 8–20. All grapes are hand-picked, briefly macerated and gently pressed ahead of the three-week temperature-controlled fermentation in inox tanks. Premium wines are left resting on fine lees for up to eight months, after which wine is bottled and left to mature. At an early age, premium wines are typical for their increasingly fresh character, varietal specifics and fruitiness. As they mature, minerality and complexity come to the forefront. They are ambassadors of their variety each, alluring and calling for more. Subject to the right conditions, they have the potential of maturing for a decade.
