This extraordinary Chardonnay came from single berry harvesting, whereupon the wine was tended with yeast and aged for 14 months in 225l barrels. Its colour is a paler hue of golden yellow with greenish reflections. The nose senses ripe grapes, suggesting yellow fruit, citrus fruit, hazelnut and minerality: the signs of maturity. On the palate it is dry and full-bodied, with the barrique flavour perfectly in tune with its structure. It tastes of fruit and minerals and has a lingering aftertaste.
