Chardonnay is a global traveller that prospers in any surroundings, be it the cold Champagne and Chablis or hot Australia, and it does equally well in Svetinje. Its golden yellow hue and the little drops of moisture dripping along the side of a cool wineglass are heralds of a full-bodied wine rich in extracts. The bouquet suggests tropical fruit, peaches, lemons, a smidgen of cloves ... very rich. And very mature. Still continental in style, but the late harvest has brought full and ripe aromas.
